Ignoring society and the media, if you’re comfortable in your own skin, thats all that matters. Size 2 or 22- its how you feel.

But for God sakes, the average American woman is a size 14! So I don’t know who the media is trying to represent with these size 0’s because it sure as hell isn’t the majority!

People need to stop judging everyone else for their appearances, just because I didn’t feel good as a 15 doesn’t mean its a bad size!

I’ve got family on the mid-upper end, I work with gorgeous women ranging from a 13-25, I’ve got my girlfriends (who shall be here in 12 hours) who are 7-9’s and are just as gorgeous and my two sisters who are around 5s, one of which used to be a 0! Of course, height plays a role too.

And visa versa, I would never look at a size 0 girl and say she’s “too skinny” unless she’s setting an example for young girls that no one is pretty unless they’re that tiny, like those Victoria’s Secret models. BAD SIGNAL!!!

I’m still struggling with finding the perfect size for MYSELF, how I feel in my own skin. I’m really glad that I’ve been able to get down to a 9, and I feel like I’d be really happy sticking to a 7, coming from a 15. At 5’6”, I wouldn’t personally go under a 5 or 7.

REAL WOMEN ARE ALL OVER THE SIZE CHART! It’s time we start representing that and teaching our girls AND BOYS that women are women and are all different. As long as we’re heathy and happy, it shouldn’t matter.

We come in all shapes and sizes, kinda like Starbucks drinks…or the lottery.
